New painting finished

Isabel is delighted to have finished her latest acrylic painting 'To The Sea'.

Isabel says 'I really enjoyed painting this picture of Lundy Island - one of my favourite places. The beautiful sea view, the colours and the textures of the wall and gate really took me back there.

I love building up the layers in my paintings in order to bring a scene to life. These layers were particularly important in this piece with the gate, walls and sunlight really needing to come to the fore.'
